For Regione Lazio, we took care of the editorial project of 'Una storia nuova' in every aspect, from the sourcing of source materials, to their refinement through an ad hoc editing and content writing process, to graphic design and editorial coordination.
For this project, we built a multidisciplinary team consisting of internal resources and external grafts, such as Marco Goran Romano (illustrator) and Silvia Zotti (copywriter and editor).
The challenge was to narrate the (youth, but not only) policies implemented in recent years and aimed at young people.
In the layout, we made extensive use of hierarchies of information, diagrams, and other expedients to make the amount of data in the texts usable.
The book takes the form of a magazine, providing readers with more handles to start reading a text in a non-linear way.
The structure of the book is divided into four areas: an introduction, a section dedicated to policies and projects, a section in which we have collected the voices of those who have designed, used and/or studied these policies; finally, fourth and last section there is a glossary that tries to shed light on a series of technical terms in the book.
